I. Job Summary
Custodian Representative – Responsible for contacting facilities and coordinating the receipt of various records.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
* Taking inbound calls from medical professionals pertaining to the records
* Making outbound calls to facilities regarding records we requested
* Updating the database to show correspondence and progress with various projects
* Scheduling deliveries and pick ups for the retrieval of records
III. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
* Required: High school diploma
* 2 years minimum legal experience
B. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required.
* Records experience a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in MS Office Software & Outlook
* Previous medical records, knowledge of HIPAA preferred
* Must be organized
* Multi-tasking ability
* Excellent phone skills
* Initiative
* Excellent work ethic
* Computer literate: Typing skills; 50+ wpm
* Experienced Medical office assistant / medical scheduler
* Excellent problem resolution skills
