Human Resources Position

I.  Job Summary 

Our ideal candidate is an energetic, organized, people-loving person who is eager to assist us in the HR department and must have prior experience with Texas and California employment laws. In this position, you will use your experience by completing essential Human Resources functions such as new hire orientation, benefits administration, payroll functions, policy revision and administration.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist with employee inquires.

  • Input various data in HR systems and maintain employee personnel files.

  • Investigate complaints and/or allegations, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring consistency.

  • Perform and process employee staff changes including exit interviews.

  • Respond to state and federal agency inquiries.

  • Perform other related duties as needed.

III. Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree

  • 3 or more years of HR experience in Texas and California

B. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required.

  • Ability to work in a rapidly fun, focused and changing environment.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment and properly advise employees on HR matters and escalate higher-level issues to HR Leadership.

  • Excellent follow through on assignments and demonstrated commitment to getting tasks accomplished.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Must be a TEAM PLAYER.

  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.
